Let us introduce the incredible artwork of Morrighan Corbel. We found her through Twitter somehow and we are incredibly glad we did. We think her artwork really portrays that feeling of aloneness, isolation and somewhat frustration. She also does pretty incredible pet portraits..
We loved chatting with Morrighan. It was really interesting for us to find out that as she has ADHD she tends to bill in terms of day rather than hours. We cannot thank her enough for the time she gave us and for the honesty she bought to the conversation.

PhaseChan is another of those artists we found at True Believers (2020) and when we saw the Kraken T-Shirt she had (but sadly sold out of our size) we knew we had to talk to her at some point and here is that chat.
We dig into PhaseChan's work a fair amount, how birds are basically dinosaurs, Twitch, conventions and once again sing the song of praise around the world of fan art. We also chat about her delayed upcoming appearance at Upfest this year!

After a bit of rescheduling, we managed to have a chat with Jennie Gyllblad to talk to her about the comics that she makes, smut, art and all sorts of other things.
We cover a lot of ground with Jennie from her most recent work Rough Hex to fetish culture and the state of comic book publishing in Sweden and why her living in the UK is not "A phase". We loved how when Jennie realised she didn't have to censor herself she jumped in with both feet. This does include the amazing idea she came up with for the drawing section of the show and supported it with an incredible drawing. Be sure to check out our social media for those images.

This is part two of our two-part chat with artist Harry Jones. Here is where we roll the dice and make something up. See what we make out of the Dinosaur & Robot genres. We dig a bit into why Harry finds taking photos is incredibly helpful for him to use as reference material. Chris struggles trying to draw a tar pit and gives some dinosaurs some weird legs and Nathan shows us how robot aliens actually kidnapped all the T-rex's.
A huge thank you to Harry who was an awesome guest, we wish him well for all of his future projects and shall aim to keep an eye on what he produces.
We are going back to releasing one episode a month again so our next episode will be Friday August 2nd 2019.

This is part one of our two-part chat with artist Harry Jones. Harry is a painter who enjoys making beautifully intricate pieces of art and has recently finished his third year at the University of West England (UWE). These pieces usually take quite a bit of time to finish and we chat about the process of creating such a piece and how recently the university lecturers have been trying to encourage him to be faster. You can't rush genius I say!. Part two is where we roll the dice and chat more.
